Walkerworks’ Online Scheduler is Awesome! To help keep the shop a safe zone, all visits to Walkerworks are by appointment only. You may easily make all your appointments through our online scheduler.
Location, Location, Location! The shop is so conveniently located and is so easy to travel to by car that lost travellers frequently stop in asking for directions. Accessed from either Stittsville Main Street (set of traffic lights makes coming and going easy) or Beverly Street (and West Ridge Drive) there is a large free parking lot right at the front door.
Walk or Bike to Walkerworks! The shop is bike and pedestrian friendly with easy access for bike and foot traffic. The bike paths at Poole Creek are right around the corner and the Trans-Canada Trail is just a few blocks down Main Street.

Your Piece Stays Here Your piece will be safely put away in a drawer in the shop until it is framed. When the materials ordered in specifically for your custom order arrive and your job is up in the framing queue, all work is completed in house. The whole process from design to completion usually takes between 2-3 weeks.
Experience & Longevity Founded as a home based business in 1995, successfully transitioned to a retail store front business in 2000 and now thriving in the growing community of Stittsville, Walkerworks has earned its great reputation and is now one of Ottawa’s busiest independently owned custom picture framing shops. Located at the corner of Beverly & Stittsville Main Streets since 2009, the shop’s board and batten stand-alone building has become a noticeable landmark along Stittsville’s Traditional Main Street Corridor.

Computerized Mat Cutter With a computerized mat cutter (the Wizard) on site practically anything you can imagine is possible: multiple window mats, intricate designs, letter mats & cut art mats, embellished mats with embossing or pen stylings and mats with writing on them, to mention a few.
Technology is used for Good not Evil As well as having the Wizard on staff, other technology is used at Walkerworks to everyone’s advantage. A dedicated custom picture framing point of sale software program is used to price out orders, generate invoices and track your work order status and location while your piece is in shop.
An IPad is used to guide us through Zoom design meets, letting us discuss your needs in real time and letting you see your artwork/frameable along side actual framing samples.
An IPhone is used to document artworks and a picture of each completed job is taken and emailed to you to notify you of its completion as well as being saved in your work order for future reference. Our portfolio is always evolving with photographs of different projects uploaded to our Instagram account, our website as well as onto our Facebook page.
Timely Turn-Around We frequently work after hours, especially at Christmastime, in order to complete your job in a timely fashion, while still maintaining our high standards.
